Only a few days left and we’re into the first week of April! With clear skies forecasted, there is plenty to do over this upcoming weekend. Here are a few fun events to check out in and around Victoria over the next few days.

Museum Tots

Join us each weekend for our Museum Tots program! This program, geared toward children ages 2 – 5, explores the museum world of learning through play, crafts, dance, and games. Each week is a new theme and new fun! The program lasts for about an hour and the whole family is welcome to join.

Bear Mountain Bike Festival 

The 3rd Annual Bear Mountain Bike Festival presented by the City of Langford and Destination Greater Victoria, is Vancouver Island’s premier off-road bicycle event . To be held March 30-31, 2019 the event is on track to draw 500+ participants and close to 5,000 spectators. The cycling Festival offers the challenge of X-Country Racing, the thrill of MTB Enduro, as well as fun activities for cycling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities: from young kids to Olympians.

Bear Mountain Bike Festival

Nestled in the Victoria BC Highlands, the venue is a cycling stadium that is ideally suited to showcase cycling in all its many facets. The area consists of over 10km of combined single-track/double-track trails, flow trail, pump track and a dirt jump park.

Wonder Sunday Wildlife Photography 

Learn what it takes to be a wildlife photographer at these fun afternoon programs. We’ll have discussions, examining various photographs and their backstories. Appreciate the effort and determination it takes to be a photographer, and perhaps snap the perfect shot yourself.

This event will take place on the second floor.

Taste of Victoria Food Tour

This 2-hour tour begins at the Victoria Public Market twice daily at 11 am and 2 pm and includes stops at The Harmonious Gates of Interest, Fan Tan Alley, Market Square, Bastion Square, Trounce Alley, Government St., the Inner Harbour Causeway, and Parliament Buildings.

Food Tour

Depending on the day, there are between 6-8 tastings along the route, as we discuss the history and quirks of beautiful Victoria, B.C. Tastings can include bread, olive oil, pierogis, meatballs, craft beer, chocolate, and much more!
